Hi, Boone Bulldogs!

Hello! My name is Janessa Fahey! Welcome to the TAG classroom! We are going to have a fantastic year! It will be full of learning new things and working together.

A few things about me….

I grew up in Waukee, Iowa, and pursued my bachelor's degree at the University of Iowa. Go Hawks! My educational background includes a degree in elementary education with endorsements in reading, middle school, and coaching. This past spring, I earned my master's degree in educational leadership from Morningside University.

I love playing pickleball with my husband, running, and attending CycleBar classes. I have a passion for playing and coaching volleyball. I have coached volleyball for the past 8 years, and I am the current head coach for Tejas 14 Black.

This will be my eighth year teaching and my first year teaching TAG. I anticipate an incredible year ahead, filled with building strong relationships and creating unforgettable memories. I am eager to kickstart the year with team building and project-based learning!
