Principal's Message

Welcome to Boone Elementary, home of the Bulldogs!

It is such an honor to serve as the principal of such a wonderful school community who truly values learning, kindness, and hard work. It is our belief that every child can achieve great things, and we are committed to helping each one grow.

I have been in education for almost 25 years, including 19 years in the classroom. Highland Park ISD has been a significant part of my journey as an educator. Serving nearly a decade as a teacher at Armstrong Elementary left an incredible mark of profound experiences and invaluable lessons, shaping my belief in the district's commitment to nurturing every student's potential and leading with excellence.

I hold a degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and a Master’s in Educational Leadership, and I am currently pursuing my Doctorate in Leadership and Policy at Southern Methodist University.

Outside of school, my husband and I love to travel and spend time outdoors. We love exploring new places and appreciating the world around us.

I am so proud to lead our Boone Bulldogs and to work alongside our dedicated teachers, supportive families, and incredible students. Together, we’re building a school where every child feels seen, valued, and inspired to do their best.

Enter to learn. Go forth to serve.
