Hi, Boone Bulldogs!

Hello! My name is Janessa Fahey! I am so excited to be your child’s third grade teacher this year! We are going to have a fantastic year! It will be full of learning new things and working together. 

A few things about me….

I grew up in Waukee, Iowa. I went to the University of Iowa for my bachelor’s degree. I graduated with an elementary education degree with reading, middle school, and coaching endorsements. I am currently earning my master’s degree in Educational Leadership from Morningside University. 

I got married this summer, so my new last name is Fahey! We moved to Dallas in July. We are extremely excited about all the new experiences and opportunities that Dallas has to offer! My husband and I love to travel, try new restaurants, and cheer on the Iowa Hawkeyes and Chicago White Sox. 

This will be my sixth year teaching 3rd grade and my first year at Boone Elementary. This is going to be an incredible year. I am excited to start the year and look forward to building those relationships and amazing memories!
