Welcome to PreK-4 Science Lab! My overall goal is to inspire my students to be enthusiastic about science through hands on experiences. I want my students to be able to make connections between the science content we learn in class and what they are experiencing in real-life.
This is my 8th year in education. I was a middle school science teacher for 5 years, and this is my third year at Boone. I graduated with my Master's in Curriculum and Instruction in Science from UT Arlington, and with my Bachelor's in Psychology and Child Development from UT Dallas. I have always lived in Texas and grew up in Coppell!
When I am not teaching science I enjoy: going to the gym, playing with my dog, traveling, and spending time with my husband who also is a teacher (orchestra) at MIS/HPMS. This is my first year with my new last name, Tannenbaum!
