Our School

Enter to Learn. Go Forth to Serve.

Welcome To Boone Elementary

Following the passage of the 2015 Bond Election, Boone Elementary School was established to support the continued growth of HPISD’s elementary population and provide expanded opportunities for future generations of students. Built on land acquired from Northway Christian Church through the $361.4 million bond referendum, Boone became the first new elementary campus to open in HPISD since 1949 and the district’s only school located within the City of Dallas.

Opened in August 2020, Boone Elementary serves Pre-K through fourth grade students in a modern learning environment designed to support collaboration, creativity, and academic excellence. Named in honor of Highland Park alumnus, former Board President, and community leader Michael M. Boone, the campus continues to reflect the district’s longstanding tradition of service, innovation, and student-centered learning while preparing Bulldogs to thrive both inside and outside the classroom.

Our Mission

Boone Elementary, with an unwavering commitment to excellence, will cultivate minds, hearts and relationships as we empower students to reach their full potential as lifelong learners who enter to learn and go forth to serve.
